Can't load my Windows XP Home Edition... Yesterday I have loaded Windows Steadystate on my "Win XP Home" PC

The best that you can hope for is that the data is still there. Pull the harddrive from your computer. Find a buddy with Windows XP Professional. Install the drive as a slave drive and if everything is OK, you should be able to browse to it in Windows Explorer. If it says you don't have access then right click on the folder and go to Properties, then the Security tab. Click on advanced, then the owner tab. Select the local administrators to take Ownership. Check the box to apply settings to subfolders and then Apply. This should get you access to your doents. You may still have to work your way down through each layer of folders until you have complete access to all your files.
