6 month MAM pacifier?

I bought a 6 month MAM pacifier & gave it to my 3 month old & she LOVED it. She has never liked a pacifier before this one. The only problem is I didn't realize it was 6 months plus until after I gave it to her when I was throwing the package away. Is it bad to giver her this pacifier? She will not be getting it all the time & she will never use it without my supervision until she gets older. It doesn't seem like its too big for her mouth..it fits perfectly. What do you think?
