A creative Christmas gift for boyfriend?

Here's the thing, we've been together for for about 2 years, and so this is our second Christmas together BUT this is our first Christmas together in our first apartment. We've decided that we are not doing any big present seeing how we are saving for our own home and we just bought a car... so i really want to get something or make something that is totally sentimental and special but with limited funds it really hard. i am already getting one of my friends who is a photographer to take pictures of me and turn it into a piece of art for our home ( were really into art) and i was thinking about making a scrap book about our life so far but we hardly have any pictures and i have a few memorabilia but not much. i am also getting a ornament that says our first Christmas and our apt number and the year on it ...I don't know if, he as a guy would like that??? PLease help.. i don't have much time left and im really stressing out! I just want something small but really meaningful.... any suggestions?
